Dr. Shaloo Sood is a senior professional with comprehensive knowledge and experience in Medical and In-vitro diagnostic device development, Risk Assessment, V&V strategy formulations & Computer System Validations for Medical Applications,
In 2010, she moved to industry from academic background and currently working as Product Development Engineer at Institut Straumann. In this role, she is responsible for managing Product Development, Risk Management and Design Control.
Shaloo holds a M.Sc. in Biophysics and Ph.D. in Experimental Medicine and Biotechnology. She has a keen interest in development of mobile health applications and connected smart devices, especially the challenges of Risk Analysis and Verification of such devices and applications.
Member of RAPS (regulatory affairs professional society) and RAPS Swiss chapter.
