Mark F. Witcher has 40 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in a wide variety of executive, consulting, and engineering roles including manufacturing operations, process and product development; strategic business development; clinical and commercial manufacturing planning; tech transfer; and facility design and construction. For the past 25 years he has consulted for a wide variety of clients, including engineering companies. Previously, he was the Sr. Vice President, Manufacturing Operations for a CMO Covance Biotechnology Services. Prior to joining Covance, he was Vice President of Manufacturing at Amgen, Inc. He has published more than forty articles related to process validation, risk management, advanced facility designs, and operational strategies.
