Jun Ordonez

Jun Ordonez holds a Master of Science in Quality Systems Management and a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, Jun is a Sr. Manager at Pfizer Gene Therapy Technical Services in Sanford NC, leading a group that successfully qualified Pfizer’s first Gene Therapy.
Jun joined Pfizer in 2003 and has been involved with Visual Inspection (VI) since 2007, starting as a Process Engineer and progressing to Manager of Global Technology and Engineering. Jun has deployed multiple VI lines within Pfizer and multiple CMOs, including Covid19 lines located in Kalamazoo, MI, Thermo Fisher in Monza Italy, Biovac in Ndabeni South Africa, Europharma in Sao Paolo Brazil, and Excela in Lenoir North Carolina.
As an SME in VI, Jun served as a scientific and technical representative addressing process related issues within Pfizer network and CMOs. Jun also provide sound rationale to capital projects which gain approval. He contributes to the Pfizer Global Standards ensuring VI programs are robust and defendable on regulatory audits. Jun conducts routine VI Program assessments to multiple sites and co-represents Pfizer SMEs contributing to the BioPhorum Network and a Presenter on PDA VI Forum.
