Toxicologist, Senior Distinguished Scientist
Andreas Czich is a Biochemist by training (PhD) with over 30 years Genetic Toxicology experience working over 20 years in pharmaceutical industry. At Sanofi he filled several roles in the preclinical Safety department, including heading the In silico, Investigative and Genetic Toxicology Team in Frankfurt/Germany. Currently he is the Scientific Advisor for Genetic Toxicology at Sanofi. In this role he is part of internal and external scientific/regulatory expert groups dealing with Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments of Nitrosamines and Mutagenic impurities in pharmaceuticals. In addition he is consulting internal project teams on strategies to assess the risk of all mutagenic impurities including Nitrosamines.
